I have been in the golf industry since I was in my early teens caddying at Lancaster CC in Pennsylvania. I just feel really good when I am on a golf course – it feels like home to me. Throughout my career, I have gone from working in a pro shop on to maintenance. This has helped me evolve as a person and also helped my career in golf. I am currently going to graduate school at Penn State World Campus and this is possible because of an ad I saw in GCM magazine. I couldn’t stop working to go to grad school and PSUWC has made it possible to get to the highest level in my field while still working. GCSAA has helped me get there and I thank you. Having worked on many golf courses through the years, GCM magazine has really helped me get more information from other superintendents as well as articles, which have assisted me in my career and urged me to ask more of the “why?” questions.
