My GCSAA story started long ago when my grandpa decided to get out of the farming business and build a golf course on the family farm. 43 years later I find myself as a third generation golf course superintendent. I was exposed to GCSAA at a young age when my dad would take us on family trips each year to attend the Golf Industry Show. Walking the tradeshow floor with my dad getting to meet and talk with other superintendents was a highlight of each trip. This is when my desire and passion for the industry started to grow, I knew at this time I wanted to be a golf course superintendent and a member of the GCSAA.
